There’s a thread over on a fishing forum for anglers to show off their tricked out fishing kayaks. You can easily see how they can quickly spend well over $1,000 on their rigs, and they take this very very seriously. There was recently an argument over the merits of a $650 paddle that was 2 oz lighter than usual.
